When are we going to see decent dvd releases (or indeed, any?) of the Tyburn Films THE GHOUL and LEGEND OF THE WEREWOLF?

    Any chance Marc/Nucleus?

The Ghoul is a bit of a yawnfest, though.

I like THE GHOUL. It has a nice atmos and that great dancing at the start. Plus Ian McCulloch with an ornament lodged in his face. Fun memories all round. My dvdr is of a very old TV recording which doesn't look too bad really, but an upgrade would be nice.

I too care for these films. Both are uniquely British imo. Isn't there some sort of legal morass surrounding them though??

The trouble I find with The Ghoul is that not much really happens between deaths! I'll check it out again one day; the last time I watched it, I never made it through it.

True it has its longuers, but it's the atmosphere that I really get off on ahem.

I like The Ghoul as well, it's an atmospheric little film and has some quite creepy moments in it. I always used to watch it on when it was on late night TV.
