Anyone seen/got this DVD from Mondo Macabro? What's it like? Not seen it before myself but I will most likely buy it at some point.

    The Snake God

Abandoned by her rich industrialist husband on a remote Caribbean estate, Paola meets Stella, a beautiful local girl who is an adept of a hidden voodoo cult. The two women become inseparable, sharing their most intimate secrets. All goes well until Paola demands that Stella take her to one of the voodoo ceremonies that she attends every week. There Paola falls under the spell of Djamballa, the powerful snake god, from whose powerful magic there is no escape.

Previously unreleased in the US, this exotic, erotic slice of 70s sinema features the stunning duo of Nadia Cassini (Starcrash) and Beryl Cunningham (The Salamander). The film takes us on a journey into mystery and magic that is both sensuous and provocative.

Sex, voodoo and two beautiful women on a search for sensual liberation.

    Bonus Features include:

    · Brand new transfer from film negative
    · Interview with director Piero Vivarelli
    · Newly created optional subtitles
    · Extensive production notes
    · Trailer
    · Mondo Macabro previews

Anyone get round to buying/seeing this?

Nice disc from MM of an ok film. Nothing particularly startling here - a soft X piece of erotica that isn't as outrageous as a D'amato movie but if you are in the right frame of mind it's worth a look.
