Here's a list of some films I would like to see get a legit, decent, English friendly release on DVD or Blu next year, though I suspect we will more than likely get re-issues of films already released time and time again. Bah.

Here's hoping for some of these:

    BEASTIALITA'
    BLUE NUDE
C.I.A. SECRET STORY (FACCIA DI SPIA)
    CRAZY DESIRES OF A MURDERER
    DEVIL'S WEDDING NIGHT
    EMANUELLE AND THE EROTIC NIGHTS
    GIALLO IN VENICE
    HEADLESS EYES
    HORRIBLE DR. HICHCOCK
IF FOOTMEN TIRE YOU, WHAT WILL HORSES DO? (+ other Ron Ormond religious exploitation e.g. BURNING HELL)
    INQUISITION (NASCHY)
    LUNATIC NIGHTS OF AMANDA LEAR
    NAKED AND CRUEL
NERO AND POPPEA (AN ORGY OF POWER)
    OSCENITA (Polselli)
    PLAY MOTEL
    PORCO MONDO
    PORN SHOP ON 7TH AVENUE
    REVELATIONS OF A PSYCHIATRIST... (Polselli)
SAVAGE MAN SAVAGE BEAST (+ other Climati/Morra Mondo)
    SEXY NIGHT REPORT 1&2
    SEXY VOODOO
SHOCKING AFRICA (+ other Castiglioni's - Massacre Video, please take note)
    THIS IS AMERICA 1,2&3

+ more I can't think of at the moment.

And Mondo Macabro we need more Turkish films! And Orientlal bug barfers/horror like THE DEVIL, RED SPELL SPELLS RED, CALAMITY OF SNAKES & BRUTAL SORCERY. Here's hoping someone will also put out more of Andy Milligan's films OTHER than CODE RED releasing, with their stupid non-sale to anyone outisde of USA policy. Fuck Code Red and those leeches flogging their product on amazon for absurd prices. You greedy, selfish fools make me sad. Here's hoping atleast 2 of the above get released - and if its by a UK company, let us pray they don't spoil things by adding inane linear notes by that hopelessly clueless "prof." prick ******.

A couple of music based movies I would like to see released on Blu Ray are Pink Floyds The Wall and also the Pet Shop Boys movie It Could'nt Happen Here, which I remember being strange but visually intresting.

PLAY MOTEL is good, sleazy fun - I have a feeling the XXX scenes may be included as an extra rather than in the film itself. They were inserts and probably add up to around only a few minutes, which is why I suspect they are supplements (7m of 'cut scenes'). Personally I'd prefer they included them in the film, as its one of those films that benefit from the inclusion of even more sleaze! So may hold on to the DVD-R version too if this is the case....but like I said, I'm not certain. Either way, looking forwards to this.

Blood and Roses (aka ...Et mourir de plaisir) (Roger Vadim, 1960) on Blu-ray. So far, the best version is a German DVD that has had some remastering. Surely someone can get a quality version of this on to Blu-ray?

Don't Torture the Duckling Blu Ray would be great, maybe a special edition from Arrow or 88 Films.

Arrow Video would be best then....from what I understand they've seen sense and got shot of that colossal Scottish knobhead C. Twaddle whose scummy presence pollutes virtually every 88 films release (quite why anyone devotes so much of their time to writing about films they don't like is beyond me).

I keep holding back on collecting full-on-cult movies like the above, but I may have to defect to the dark side as I run out of other films, I do love a good exploitation movie, but have to date held back on collecting in that direction, but I do enjoy the posts in here by those who have oodles of them in their collections.
Do you buy off Amazon or go to the websites for these films, directly.
If they are on Amazon, I ought to look at them more often to get in the loop more.

Amazon UK or US are great for cult movie titles, there are plenty of other websites that specialize in cult movies but on the whole Amazon stock most titles from around the world. There are so many great DVD's and Blu Rays of cult movies and plenty of new titles being released all the time, its a great time to be collecting these type of movies and good or bad they are always fun to watch even the nasty ones.

Yes, thanks Sin, time for me to start looking on Amazon following the titles listed around this place. This is the feeling I get more and more about the pure cult films, the lower budget end of the market - they are interesting and crazy and often weird, but that's great.
I think I've probably used up a lot of mainstream cinema, and tend to be just collecting the best of the classics. I could do with a few boxsets of important directors to fill in a few gaps. But there is a lot of fun as you say in cult, it's a different type of viewing experience to mainstream, and at times, it seems more honest, HW in fact can be the more icky, of the two, if you know what I mean.
    Now...it's about finding the storage.
    I'll have to be selective.
