Yeah it's awesome, loved it! It's left me with a massive checklist of must watch/must rewatch fare.

It's worth noting that there's an R2 coming out early next year.

I can confirm that the UK R2 DVD will be out in March 2009, and despite the lack of info online will have a commentary, Q&A, UK exclusive interview and more.

Long Weekend (Colin Eggleston, 1978) - picked up a copy of this as part of the 3 for £10 in blockbusters, great film

Note: The Australian packaging says the disc is Region 0 when it is in fact Region 4.

There are no subtitles - perhaps the upcoming Optimum UK release will include them? (but I doubt it).

Thanks. I still will wait for information regarding to the UK release in March, to see if they include subtitles. if not, I will take the Australian disc

I went for the 2 disc R4 set as well and as far as value for money goes you don't get much bigger packages than what Madman offer here. It took me ages to get through all of the special features but would have taken longer had the Richard Franklin audio interview worked on my disc. Just to add that if you've not got round to seeing the documentary yet then don't hold off because it's really good fun with some colourful characters on board and even more colourful films being discussed!

I'm surprised at how few of these films I not only own but are out on DVD. Hopefully with this documentary plus the recent Aussie horrors like Wolf Creek and Storm Warning we'll get more of these on shiny disc.
