Annoyed to discover that Conquest is getting an Unrated Blu Ray premiere. Hopefully Fox will release a dvd version too at a later date.I feel sorry for people who forked out for the limited edition head:

Whilst the sequels are variable in quality, I think they have lots of charm, and I still watch them from time to time. Glad to hear Conquest is being released uncut - hopefully the bleaker ending will be used this time.

Any news about a DVD of the unrated Conquest of the Planet of the Apes? I still personally holds it as the best in the series and I've been wanting to see the uncut version for a long, long time.

Fox would be pretty stupid if they did not eventually release it on dvd.It's on my wants list.

I must admit that as the owner of a Blu-Ray players, I am VERY tempted to get this, but even the cheapest online retailers are asking £60 for it.

I REALLY want to get it, as I have wanted to see the uncensored Conquest for years, but I think I'll wait until the set comes down in price.

Does anyone know if the films are going to be released seperately in the UK? I'm suprised the original can only be purchased as part of the box-set.

They have presumably released the first one seperately because the general public would be interested in the first movie, but be unwilling to pay out for the whole set.

They're just trying to ensure that as many people will buy the first movie as possible.

Can anyone confirm if the UK blu-ray of Conquest and Battle of the Planet of the Apes has the extended version as well as the theatrical version. I'm sure I read that the UK disc has only the theatrical version. The scenes from the extended version are only available seperately as a special feature.

If anyone has the UK set please let me know as the US set is Region A only.

Various reviews in UK mags and rags, claimed it was an uncut version, that differs from the theatrical release.
