House on Straw Hill is on tonight on the Horror Channel. Is it cut?

Its on before the uncut Bloodsucking Freaks so I think it should be played uncut but since Straw Hill has been rated (unlike freaks) in the UK it will probably be a cut version. Unless its been passed uncut. If it has been cut can someone tell me whats been cut and if its worth watching (or even better) recording?

HA HA very funny The BBFC would even allow a film with a girl getting stabbed to be shown in this country but Freaks has naked woman getting totured. I'd be surprised if the BBFC released it uncut in this country let alone being down graded to a 15 certificate.

I believe he's referring to the 1932 FREAKS.

Bloodsucking Freaks has never been submitted to the BBFC.

Brian you should actually watch the 1932 Freaks. It's a hell of a lot better than a lot of the films you keep enquiring about.

Well when I said 'Bloodsucking Freaks' on the 'Horror Channel' I thought you would realize that it was the gory, and nasty Troma film.

I know what you meant but you should still watch Freaks (1932)

Are you talking about Bloodsucking Freaks or Freaks? My guess is Freaks.

    For the love of God.

Have you tried watching any black and white films. If not you are missing out on a whole load of classics:

    Freaks
    Phantom of the Opera (silent)
    Nosferatu (silent)
    Cabinet of Dr Caligari (silent)
    Cape Fear
    Psycho
    Night of the Living Dead
    Night of the Hunter
    Frankenstein
    The Invisible Man
    Creature From the Black Lagoon
    Dracula
    The Wolf Man
    Cat People
    The Ghoul
    The Haunting

    among others

Brian watch b/w films? I very much doubt that, unless there is a killing every 5 minutes then he doesn`t seem to be interested.

He may have seen the original Night of the living dead though

Your correct. Not only that but I have the original on DVD. Personally I like the remake better. Not cause its in colour but cause its scarier and more creepier. Plus Tony Todd kicks ass!

I prefer the original - which is my favourite horror film - but the remake has some really scary moments as well - although the acting is so OTT it provokes laughter

You do mean the original right? I like it as well but the remake actually does have better acting. But the original was in the 60s so I dont mock it. Tony Todd is a brilliant actor and always will be.

I wouldn`t go as far as to say that the remake is better but it`s certainly a good effort, I used to love it when I was at primary school, I then bought the DVD a couple of years ago and it bored me.
