I quite like Crash but I'm a wino alcoholic.![]()
This weeks viewings, and it is a bit Argento-centric:
(TERROR AT THE) OPERA. I still love this. I hadn't seen it since a New Years Day showing at the Scala in 1990 until last year when I picked up the Arrow DVD. It's a terrific movie.
SLEEPLESS. Okay. Bits of it are pretty good but, entertaining though it is, it's not prime Dario.
I got TENEBRAE through the post yesterday but haven't watched it yet.
Recently watched....
Faust (1926)
Scanners (1981)
Scanners II: The New Order (1991)
Scanners III: The Takeover (1992)
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
The Woman in Green (1945)
Around the World in Eighty Days (1956)
--there you go all you CRASH nay sayers : you're all too damn stupid to like it!
if, on the other hand, you feel you can critique it's credit sequence , you are a paragon of intelligence.--
Classic. What a bunch of girlies.
It's called a sense of humor people, sadly, you won't be able to buy any at the Sales![]()
So yet another CRASH thread! We know you love it BLACKIs that not enough? Just wait till I start on Mean Streets(which I watched again this evening) then It'll be all MOOKS!

I'm sorry, Phill. Your last post had humor in it. This is not allowed as people get upset and take everything you say seriously. Please refrain from making humorous posts in future
ps: I also bought Mean Streets recently, have yet to watch it though.
Sorry BLACK didn't mean to make people laugh! You mook!![]()
Huh, you think you're better just because you liked Mean Streets, you're no better than me!!! Bwahahahahaha!
I saw Mean Streets during a cinematic run way back when. There is one shooting scene in a car that has stuck with me through the years. Hope it still has the same impact.
It will have the same impact my friendBecause it's Marty himself who does the shooting! Sorry bud hope I didn't spoil it for you
Oh you've seen it(Humour)

You know, there is a certain irony when someone makes an off-the-cuff remark with a sense of humor - only to have it mis-interpreted by people who take it not only seriously, but personally, and then post - giving validity to the original comment. See? I mean, THAT'S funny
Anyway Phill, I can't believe you're threatening to have your mate Marty shoot me. You're obviously sooooooo much smarter than me.... NOT.
I'll report back after watching Mean Streets. At the moment, I'm working through some Ealing Comedies.

Just watched Prime Cut. I haven't seen this since catching a TV screening back in the 80's. Every bit as good as I remember it.
As for Crash, if liking it is a mark of intelligence, then I'm going to profess my great love for this cinematic classic and elevate myself to Einstein-like status.
