Wow, easy cloud. I for one could not be happier that Liverpool went through - they more than deserved it, and they put up a great fight for their victory, even if it did end in penalties.

I, like you, am a Man Utd supporter, but come on, try and have a bit of respect.

I'm sick and tired of telling you all that footbal discussion in banned from the forum. So why does it keep cropping up? If you want to discuss football then join a footie forum. Please!

Any more of this and users will be given a red card and suspended from the forum.

I keep having to tell my two girls, who are 4 and 8, to stop doing things I've told them not to do on a daily basis...

I am delighted. Make of that what you will . Watched another ineffectual Thriller episode starring Jenny Agutter. Anton Diffring was a Poe freak who had a habit of bricking people up who ignited any form of dirty passion in Ms Agutter. Yawn! So too was the fact that some naff Tales of Mystery and Imagination, Masque of the Red Death, party was held everytime Diffring got all 'bricky.'

Given your obsesseion with miss Agutter- Railway Children, Walkabout et al I think I had better start mixing the cement.
By the way, I am glad you are pleased, I am pleased too! What ever it is that we are pleased about!
I will say though Drac- this thriller collection retails for about £60- you don't seem too happy with your purchase!
I know what it is, Jenny kept her clothes on for this one!

I'm certainly not pleased, this is one of the worst days of my life, of course I don't know why, sorry what are we even talking about?

More trawling through the dreaded Sci-Fi 50 pack tonight as I have nothing else to watch until Thursday evening anyway

Jenny Agutter is quite dreamy in this, but really her lines and delivery of them is quite sickly. She is either distant or lovesick. These are qualities I do not find very appealing.

I am still pleased though . Sorry Cloud.

Thriller has been a disappointment, but there are some decent episodes that keep me watching. I am currently on with the Donna Mills second appearance as a car loving bore. Can't wait to see how this one pans out, but Jeremy Brett with hair makes a novel change from all those Sherlock Holmes he was in.

As for Ms Agutters wardrobe it was bad, 70's bad and it is disgusting that no one told her to disrobe immediately!

Re: What Have You Been Watching?

Actually I have the ABUS disc of Suspiria but I've watched it zillions of times. Yes the cause of my anger is that blasted Sci-Fi pack, now the truth has been revealed, how can anyone stay even tempered or even sane when being spoon fed that rubbish (minus 1 or 2 gems hidden in amongst it).

Re: What Have You Been Watching?

    That ought to be obvious.

Anyway, I'd love to tell you what I watching tonight. But apparently, "What Have You Been Watching?" doesn't actually mean "What Have You Been Watching?" - but rather, it means, "What Have You Been Watching other than the one thing you're not allowed to mention you've been watching for fear the entire world comes crashing down." Hey, for all I know there are other things I can't say I've been watching - I don't know.

Anyway, I was watching something tonight.

Re: What Have You Been Watching?

I was watching the same thing probably- and I am probably happier with the outcome than your good self probably. Still, the fact that we were watching something unmentionable, at least fills me with hope that, in today's more libral censorship society there is actually something on the starz (there said it) forum that is banned. It really makes me want to get hold of that DVD.
    I wonder if it's violent?

Come on guys, it's not too hard to understand, is it? Football chat almost inevitably ends in flaming and folk getting personal – not saying anyone on this particular thread is guilty but it does happen. You wanna talk about football? Find a football forum or better still, go down the pub and chat with your mates about the lame sport in person.

Re: What Have You Been Watching?

Come on Comp, I agree with what you were saying to a degree as passionate people who love the sport get a little emotional on the subject and heated discussion does sometimes come about. However, unless you are a fan then you can't relate to the enjoyment factor of a load of people running around a field kicking a ball. There is more to it than that. I think the 'lame' comment was unneccessary as people can't help what they like. I would feel the same way if somebody said horror films were 'lame' etc. Football is enjoyed by the masses like film is, but I tend only to talk about it in real-life or via PM. If some people feel compelled to talk about it because that's what they have been watching then thats up to them. I just think it doesn't help matters when non-footie fans attack it every chance they can get. I do admit comments are sometimes OTT, but please everyone stop saying how sh*t, sh*te and poo it is because it brings out the reaction to defend.

Has there ever been a horror film with a football setting? The Arsenal Stadium Mystery is the closest I can think of and Escape To Victory doesn't count, horrific as it was.

I completely understand why people enjoy football, mate. What I'm saying is there's a perfectly valid point for it not being discussed on this forum, yet people still moan about it.
