I remember hearing about this on some Channel-4 documentary. Yes, there is a hardcore version somewhere. The holy grail...

According to Simon Sheridan's book on Mary Millington, the only surviving print of the uncut version 'resides, disintegrating, at a secret address in Westcliffe On Sea'

Nice to see David Sullivan is promoting his deceased bit on the side...

Just bought a copy of the sport, the only reason for this film.Whats good is that The Naked Truth is included on the DVD as well.
Whats bad,it ain't in the paper. You either have to take a coupon to a listed sex shop or send off £1.99 for P & P.
Which I will do as the nearest to me is in Manchester.
Now I ain't no prude but I don't like Sex Shops.
Incidentally just picked up the mail on sunday and got a copy of Fried Green Tomatos's..... with it.Good wholesome entertainment.YAWN!
Also the Sport is promoting it as"big budget hit, with Hollywood production values" (Come play with me,not Fried)

    Damn

Didn't get the Sport today. The only place I could have got it was in our local convenience store, where we are regulars. I tried to have a quick look to see how you had to get it, but didn't know you'd be able to get it by post. Thought it would be a rip-off or something so didn't bother. I'd pay £1.99 for Come Play With Me! I take it you have to send the original coupon? If anyone has (or can get) a spare coupon, or knows of a way to get hold of a disc I'd be very interested to hear from them. I suppose you can only order one copy of the disc per person...?

    They better not run out...

I hope this dosn't ruin my chances of getting it,but here goes.
    Send your name and address,with a cheque for £1.99 to;
COME PLAY,(DEPT.SSO22) 14 Bourne Road,Bexley,Kent DA5 1LU. and make cheques payable to M.O.DIVISION and add address to reverse.

There is a coupon to take to a sex shop, but I don't think you need it if ask for it by post. Also there is a little address coupon in the paper, but it says photo copies or your address on plain paper are acceptable.
If you don't get it or get junk mail(as there is a box to tick to not receive it) don't blame me.
By the way what's the problem with buying the sport. It ain't no worse than the News of The World these days!
Don't know about one per person but you know what they are like.

Thanks for that info, I'll certainly be trying to get my copy. What's wrong with the Sport? Nothing really, except other halves don't always see eye to eye on these things...

I just hope that when they send it,it dosn't come in packaging with Sport plastered all over it or I will have some explaining to do.
I can't get to the sex shop in Manchester though. So I will take my chances
It does have on the coupon a disclaimer that you are over 18 as well.

So, has anyone received their copy yet? I bet it's packed in a small cardboard sleeve...

What's happened to the retail version? I notice it's not in print...

Amazon have it listed as out-of-print but maybe that's due to some distribution problems? Maybe the disc is only on offer from adult shops?

    I hope it comes soon...missus

Since when was Come Play With me R18.Unless its the Hardcore inserts version.I think the promotion in the paper just wanted people to visit sex shops. They used to sell the vid in HMV.
I don't care what packaging its in,as like you said its out of print.Plus it contains the bad taste documentary True Blue Confessions/Naked Truth made a year after she died.

Be aware the older DVD just included the 6 minute prologue to True Blue Confessions/The Naked Truth not the whole doc, chances are the give away DVD will be the same.

I never believe anything this crap paper says.I shall see if and when I get it.
It does say the documentary as a bonus on the same disk, but sport readers probably think anything over 5 minutes is one.
It says in the description over 100 mins. Now if the film is 90 mins and the doc is 45 mins then that is 135.So you might be right.Oh well

    Re: Mary Millington Alert!

My copy of the DVD turned up today. Anyone else got theirs? It's in a plain paper sleeve. Come Play With Me is OK, True Blue Confessions is the full version but is pretty ropey and looks like its been mastered straight from VHS and there are only a few chapter selections for each film but for £1.99 I'm not complaining, especially as the older DVD is now quite hard to find.

Come Play With Me opens with the original Tigon logo - I'd forgotten about their distribution of the film. It's got to be one of the most bizarre British films ever surely...?

    Re: Mary Millington Alert!

...and what a godawful film True Blue Confessions is! Never seen this before, although it would have been doing the rounds in the early 80s when I was a regular at our local smut palace. Tasteless and crap, with naff music, it's like staring at a car crash. Thank God it only lasts half an hour. Reminds me of another film I did see from the same era, also made by the talented John M. East, Hellcat Mud Wrestlers.

    3 weeks not 7 days

After the moaning mine turned up today.I thought my 2 quid was wasted.
Indeed it is the full 41 minute true blue confession, not like the previous issue of Come Play With me which only had a 6 minute preview on the disk, which was mentioned by someone earlier in the thread.
The transfer is only as good as the old video, but for the money a bargain.

Also got a very funny adult catalogue, some of the titles are killers.I take it back the Sport isn't a totally scum paper.
