Ordering from Amazon

In the past the stuff I've ordered from Amazon has been old/import releases, whilst I've had most of my new releases from MVC.

I've just ordered the Norman Warren set from Amazon, and it said it'd dispatch it in time for it to arrive on release day - IF NOT EARLIER.

What experience have you had in getting new release stuff from Amazon? Do you often receive the parcels before the release day?

I don't use the uk version of Amazon any more (sendit.com does free postage to Ireland now so that tipped the balance). However when I did use it on a couple of occasions stuff was dispatched before the official release date, so had I lived inthe uk it would have arrived even before the official date. Someone on another thread said that Play.com already has the set in stock, so if they do I'm sure Amazon do as well, so should arrive quickly. Hope that helps.
