    Marc! Please help!

You said on my wish list topic of Master Of The Flying Guillotine that Momentum have some Shaw films. Do you have any info with regard to the films and any possible specs?

    Please help

As a HUGE fan of these movies I'd be very interested to hear any info that you have about the forthcoming releases also

I have no details of particular titles - it was just a little piece of gossip I picked up recently.

I have the old rare JVI pre-cert. of THE MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE and i can't wait for a PAL format DVD release. I only hope that they can maybe use the same artwork as JVI's video sleeve as it was SWEEEEEEET! The U.S. release DVD sleeve is the pits...
JVI's videotape sucked too as the 'letterboxing' was basically matting that masked off huge amounts of top & bottom of the image! Still, it's nice to have that sleeve...

    Just so you guys know...

unless its picked up seperatly, Master of the Flying Guillotine won't be part of any Shaw range because it was made by ex-Shaw contract star Jimmy Wang Yu for First Films. It is a sequel to his Golden Harvest film One Armed Boxer - which hasn't been released on DVD anywhere except as a very expensive and rare Japanese DVD.

    Yay!

On 11th October, Momentum are releasing three Shaw films:

    Heroic Ones
    Heroes Two
    Death Duel

No specs yet but if these are uncut, original aspect ratio and original language with subtitles then I'm buying them!

    yeah but...

It's terrible. Lousy print, cropped from scope to full screen and dubbed only. No better than the VHS

11th October has been and gone and still no Shaw releases by Momentum. They are listed at Sendit and Amazon for 11/10 and no pics or news yet

I heard somewhere that there is a slight delay, hope they still get released. One Armed Boxer 2 is a poor print, but it can be had quite cheap. I'm still waiting on a good region 2 release of 5 Deadly Venoms. Anyone heard anything?
