A thread well worth reviving (ha, ha).

Nifty little film, actually. I think the HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN version was cut by Independent-International...

I mention this on the Worldwidedvdforums as one of Paul Naschys best films. The pig scene may get cut though if released here though it is quick.

I think they cut most of the sex scenes out but left in graphic violence. A few dialogue scenes are cut as well.

I actually don't know this film, I take it it's not hit DVD anywhere in the world? I love the list f plot keywords for this one (IMDB): Female Nudity,
Beautiful Woman, Mutilation, Throat Slitting, Prosthetic Body Part, Vagabond
    Maggot. Hmmmmm.

I'm always up for another giallo though.

If the pig is dead it's not exactly going to be very fascinating is it? Now my plans for a dvd commentary for EMANUELLE IN AMERICA, on the other hand, involve Ped...(Oi, Wragg! Enough! Admin)

Isn't this on the list of up and coming releases from BCI Eclipse, who've just released Naschy's Night Of The Werewolf and Vengeance Of The Zombies?

Never seen this one meself, but I did enjoy Aured's Horror Rises From The Tomb, so I'd certainly give this a spin.

Had a VHS of this as 'Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll'. Pretty bog standard stuff really...fairly slow, but with a few decent moments.

I'm told the BCI release is now due March 2008.

I did see the UK pre-cert years ago, no idea if there was a pig in it though. I do remember it being pretty gruesome, with a meat cleaver to the neck being one such scene

I've only seen the Sunrise video but I have a review of the UK precert and the scene with the pig is mentioned (the reviewer reckoned that the scene in question would, intentionally or otherwise, function as a good advert for vegetarianism)
