As Anchor Bay are set to begin releasing titles theatrically, I think it's about time we had a forum dedicated to discussing these releases.

In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for more announcements in our THEATRICAL section above.

I can now confirm that our first release will be THE MANSON FAMILY.

Future theatrical releases include UNDEAD, TOOLBOX MURDERS and BUBBA HO-TEP.

I'm glad you got hold of Undead - read about this a while back and it sounds great; will definitely be seeing it (assuming this is general release, yes?).

Does this mean you also acquire DVD/video rights to the same films you're releasing theatrically?

Yes, indeed. Expect DVD releases (with rental first).

I'll also add some trailers to the site soon too.

Excellent. I'll be seeing Manson Family in addition to Undead. Hopefully these films will make it to one of the many Birmingham cinemas.

are we looking at independent cinemas or the big chains Marc? We have a few independents in Notts i.e. Broadway, Screen Room (the smallest cinema in the World apparently) so its all good for me. The Manson Family looks well good..

Don't like the retitling of the film, by the way, but can understand the logic behind it.

The smallest cinema in the World in Nottingham would be an ideal place for an Anchor Bay theatrical fest After all, QT premiered 'Pulp Fiction' here at the Broadway just around the corner
