    Blue Underground UK

    Anyone got any info on this?

    Where's SNUFF (it was passed by the BBFC on 22 May 2003!)? Not that I care - I got the R1 release and understand the UK release will be a similarly bare-bones release.

    I've tried their site obviously (www.blueunderground.co.uk) but it's been getting 'revamped' for an age ... so does anyone have any info at all on whether there's cause to get excited over this company, or not?!

    Ultimately, I'd like to know if they have plans to release CHARLIE'S FAMILY ...

    Claire, I thought I heard that Blue Underground UK's stuff was being distributed by, horror of horrors, ABUK!!! So, maybe Marc knows a bit more on the situation.

    Excellent news, IF you mean BUUK will be releasing CF ...!

    Although I am unfortunate enough not to have seen the film yet (love everything else by Van Beber). Is it likely to suffer at the hands of the BBFC??

    I don't understand why British distributed BU discs won't continue to be sold under the AB banner - doesn't this work well? What I'm asking is, what are the advantages of a separate company distributing films that Anchor Bay can handle (as they have been perfectly well in some cases, e.g. Crazies, Vampyres)?

    ... which makes me think it has been passed for home viewing - they don't tend to list these titles until the artwork has been through the VPRC too.
