    Question Best DVD hack code

I hope this isn't a subject that's a bit dodgy, but what's the shortest, easiest hack code for a DVD player you've ever found?

I've got a Wharfdale DVD-750 and I only had to press four buttons on my remote and press 'Play'! Voila, instant multi-regional DVD player!

    Can anyone beat that?

Anybody shed any help on my XV10 panasonic...

The only mods for this seem bloody steep..

That will teach me to go for performance and looks..
    rather than compatability

There is no standard remote hack for your XV10. You either have the choice of a modchip or you can rent a hacked remote control from www.dvdchips.co.uk here:

    http://www.shoyle.f9.co.uk/dvdchipsu...annyremote.htm

    or from www.dvdcodes.net here:

So, redd, are you gping to buy a new dvd player? That one from Amazon is dirt cheap! Much better than going for 'hacked' remotes!

    Hmmmm...
I suppose the other one could go in the bedroom?

That IS an amazing offer for a DVD player...let alone multi-region!
Just gonna read the reviews and have a think...

    Thanks Doc!

Tell her it's only just over £30 and she can see her favourite R1 movies that you can't get in the UK! I take it she does watch movies?

My girlfriend enjoys movies, although, admittedly, not as much as me. I don't think she's quite taken to Italian horror, although I'm working on that. She's a real Hammer nut and loves '80's stalk 'n' slash movies. She couldn't wait to see Friday 13th when I got it on DVD!!!

I'm forcing her through the video nasty collection at the moment as I'm working on a video nasty website.
