    Blood Beach - German DVD.

Just by chance spotted Blood Beach on Amazon.De. I'm guessing its a video port and not official. If its a nasty bootleg I apologise now.
    Just under £15 with postage.

Edit......... just been doing some digging on the internet. It is virtually uncut bar a 2 minute police dialogue scene, which is included as an extra in German. There is some bollox on the internet about a bloody claw on leg scene and a bit more extra blood in an unrated print.Scenes that were put into a bootleg that have nothing to do with the film.
So its virtually uncut, full screen but decent print in either German or English.

Its released by Jam Entertainment who have put out another film called RadioActive Dreams. A 1980's film I know nothing about. ?
Unofficial releases ? (so apologies again if I've broken the rules.)

Well, it's up at DVD Compare. Doesn't that mean it's official?

    EDIT

I just had a look around and found this on AV Maniacs, posted on 2 February 2012:

Re: BLOOD BEACH (1980) German DVD

Hi, I'm the writer-director of Blood Beach. We've been trying to find the current legitimate rights holder of the movie for a long while. I am very interested in any info anyone can send me in this regard, and would like to know if the company planning to release a Blood Beach DVD has the contractual right to do so. Thanks. Jeffrey Bloom

I added the comparison to REWIND & mentioned the release earlier on the Without Warning thread. I also posted some screencaps there showing the great quality of the release.:-

I think I read this thread and forgot about it. A couple of years ago I was looking for Blood Beach and a couple of weeks ago I decided to have a random search on Google. Found the jam release and ordered it off Amazon Germany. Cost £14 ish with postage. Not sure its quite worth the price, but its a decent print if 4:3. Not sure about the ratio, but it has one of the worst microphone at top of screen scenes I've ever seen in a film. The bar/cafe conversation has a big black mike waving about for ages.

Without Warning looks up my street as well.

I paid abut £8.00 from GROOVES INC for my copy & I'm more than happy with it.Probably open matte from the mike shots which do stand out.
