BBFC Policy on Sexual Violence to be debated

The BBFC tries to gauge attitudes to the depiction of sadism and violence after The Human Centipede 2 and The Bunny Game

UK censors ask focus groups to watch sexually violent films

The BBFC should be applauded for its new research on sexual violence

    Should be interesting...

Nothing will change. The BBFC will never stop cutting sexual violence no matter what the research shows. Overall they cut very little these days, cutting less would mean passing Human Centipede 2, Bunny Game, Serbian Film, Death Wish 2 etc. No way.

Maybe the film makers should make films that exclude sexual violence ?

The film makers have a responsibilty as well, rather than aiming at the BBFC's door all the time ?

Some of us enjoy sexual violence though (cinematic, I hasten to add). This is the stuff of grindhouse (the real deal, not Tarantinoesque homages), sleaze, whatever you want to call it.
