    Storage 24 (Johannes Roberts, 2012)

I had the pleasure of seeing this last night via a sneak preview arranged by Frightfest in London. If you like aliens and lashings of gore I suggest you check it out. It's really a lot of fun. It opens across the UK this Friday. If it goes down well a sequel is planned.

I founds two reviews based on last night's screening:

I was thinking about that loathsome 15 rating until I read this:

At its most hair-raising, the creature bounds and springs along the corridors in pursuit of its screaming prey and when it strikes it does so with a savageness which must have taken Storage 24 right to the edge of what’s acceptable in a 15-certificate movie; prepare yourself for bodies torn in half, faces sliced off and generous buckets of blood.
Low budget! No CGI! Definitely sounds like my kind of film!

I'm one of the few people who has seen all of Jo Roberts' previous films (apart from Roadkill, his US TV movie, but including the original cut of Diagnosis before it became Sanitarium) - so I am really looking forward to this.

Presumably the version showing at Fright Fest will be the uncut 18 version and not the cut UK 15 rated cinema version.

Hopefully then, they'll release the DVD/Blu as an 18 rated one.
