Have just listened to an episode of 'How Does That Make You Feel' - Women's Hour drama this week on Radio 4. VERY funny and highly recommended with an outstanding comic performance from the great Roger Allam...

Kenneth Cranham in a verite/documentary found footage style horror on Radio 4 right now. Eco-terrorists disrupt an oil company's zoo opening.
Well that was great. It's called We Outnumber You, and has rampaging animals and helicopter crashes. Check it out.
Good shout Mrb. I had an hour to spare and dark had fallen so I thought We Outnumber You sounded worth a punt. Wow. It's a long time since I have heard anything so dark on radio. Jeezy-peeps!! Twas great though. Amazing sound recording and editing.

can i also recommend Les Kelly's Britain, new Kevin Bishop comedy, very funny etc.
Tuesday, Radio 4, 4.30. New series of Great Lives. First ep is Michael Sheen bigging it up for none other than Phillip K. Dick.

the Dick thing was great, even if Matthew Parris is just everso slightly condescending to my mind.
am enjoying the new Doctor Who stories on Radio4xtra (18.00 GMT) btw 4 stories under the Hornet's Nest umbrella, then were getting a rerun of Pyramids Of Mars after to tide us over xmas....
must plug the rather odd I, Regress (radio4 tues, 23.00 GMT) starring Matt Berry as a rather unconventional shrink, funny and bleak at the same time etc.
After finishing that Cthulhu game for the 3rd time, i put it away vowing to keep away from HPL for a slight while, overload and all that....BUT, Radio4Xtra have other ideas....from Sunday 18.30 GMT Richard Coyle will be reading The Shadow Over Innsmouth!! 5 parter etc. Can i never escape haha. He's done a good enough job of Mountains AND Dunwich so am looking forward to this....
I must be missing this stuff Hamish, will fish out the RT and look up some of these and also your TV listings.
Last game I played was DOOM, 90s, creepy as hell, not a game-player, but like to keep up with things, so have read your posts on gaming.
Are you a game-addict?
not really, if im not crawling around some ruined base, or fighting off the undead then pass haha. i came to games late, and my favourites are
Half Life, 2nd
Silent Hill 1&2, 3&4 are ok, but lack something (i even have the soundtracks haha)
Resident Evil 1,2,3, Code Veronica, Zero, 4, never finished 5 (got bored with the "co-op", takes away from the horror aspect)
Clock Tower, old school, still great
Doom3, what an ending haha, the bigger they are etc
Project Zero, fighting ghosts with a camera, some spooky bits
Doom3 .... Ahh, they're up to 3 are they?
Doom holds good memories, a friend who was also not much into games had it on his pc, he used to say, 'hate games but this .... I'd go over to meet up and we'd be off to the pub, or wherever, but that cursed game would delay us for an hour or so, all that eerie wind rattling out of the pc speakers, the quiet, tension building...
Well, Shadow got off to a good start, abridged of course but not by much, must pull my finger out and get these HPLHS versions as well, ah the list never ends....
House on the Borderland repeated from Thurs 18.00 GMT, Radio 4xtra natch. And there was a R4 play on today (14.15 GMT) about early days of Dads Army, could be good...will check it out.
Using Iplayer more and more for Radio I miss, very good. You can line up say, three parts of a serial, and listen in at leisure in one go. Useful for me when time is short.
And they are repeating At The Moutains..... ONE more time from monday on R4Xtra.

Comedian Stewart Lee travels through a soundscape with contributions from Brian Hodgson, Adrian Utley etc. Any programme with Tristram Carey and Daphne Oram is gold to me, enjoy!!
R4Xtra are repeating, from the start, the rather droll and amusing Hazelbeach starring Jamie Foreman. Was on at 9.00 this morning, so should be on the iplayer now, hopefully we'll get the lot in one go, as it's better to hear from the get go ahem.
Forgot to mention that R4 have a new series of the rather odd and funny The Secret World back on. check your iplayer, as this frankly twisted look into celebrities "private lives" is a scream and a half if the first 2 series are anything to go by...!!
