Yeah, Bunty's the only good thing about SPELLCASTER, playing a bitter, gin-sodden rock star.

A Mr.T classic, yes. Notice three backing singers but only two mikes!

This next one isn't rock 'n' roll at all - but it is the best 'lost' movie of the '80's, so deserves a look-see:

Nothing Lasts Forever, uh, wow! Was that Larry Bud Melman on the moon? Wow...

That Annette clip was horrible! I liked it very much, thank you.

I concur with cbradford concerning the SMG clip. Here's his first band, The Mad (but of course) playing one of my favorite songs ever (a claim I can only make with about 2 or 3 hundred songs).

And more on topic. Song starts at 10:57 for impatient types. Genius or rubbish? I'm still not sure.

The Mad... rad... whatever happened to Screaming Mad George? Seems to have disappeared.

Wow, 10 minutes of pain to get to that 'Red Death' song. But it was worth it, if only for the glasses. And Frank Stallone's hair helmet.

This next video was included as an extra on the Carter Stevens 'Punk Rock'/ 'Pleasure Palace' DVD:

Always thought that BIG MEAT EATER wasn't as much fun as it should be (I find it a bit of a slog to get through, TBH), but it had a few high points:

Better late than never, a wonderful Devo rip there, Dave.

    Some more grooves:

    1980s Orphic R 'n' R.

Paul Smith, a mean man amongst men.

A meaner man amongst men, Wings Hauser.

If you've yet to see Vice Squad do track down a copy, thehamish. Just as great and gritty as the WH song above.

Here comes Ted Raimi's 19th nervous breakdown:

    Do not watch this one:

Glad to see this thread back up and running! Thought LUNATICS was an awful waste of Deborah Foreman (looking a little old and uncomfortable, aware that her career hadn't really amounted to much), but for no particular reason I love ROCKULA (Susan Tyrell on the decks!).

Following VICE SQUAD, here's crap pseudo-metal themes part two: NEW YEAR'S EVIL (or should that be EVEEEEEEEEEELLLLL...):

...and my favourite witchypoo demon dance of the '80's, courtesy of my favourite crap actress of the same decade, LeeAnne Baker (who featured in the likes of BREEDERS and PSYCHOS IN LOVE, and who here seemed to be trying her very, very best.... to no avail). I give you - NECROPOLIS:

    Re: 1980s Rock 'N' Roll

I know that the theme to TERRORVISION has been featured before in this thread, but nevertheless I reckon it to be the coolest theme tune to ANY b-movie of the '80's. Would be interesting to see if anyone else thinks there's any other true contenders:

    Re: 1980s Rock 'N' Roll

The Terrorvision theme is choice, and I'd have to put some serious thought (God forbid) into my fave 80s theme, but this is the first one that popped into my head, which is odd because I was 11 the last time I saw this movie.

Like I said, I've got to put more thought into it, now give the drummer some:

Being one of the five people on this earth that actually enjoyed HOWARD THE DUCK, I'd go with that... while you're having a think, how about some Plastics from DOWNTOWN '81?

"How do you say New Wave in Japanese?"
