Claire, out of interest, when you emailed Arrow, did you forward them the Amazon email as proof of your purchase?
Thanks.

Sicko.
Hi Leatherface, yes I did.
Hi WillHay, all I meant was, if you're looking to buy the film off the High Street, I thought it was odd that my local HMV store didn't stock The Beyond until a few days after I'd heard replacement discs were available. That doesn't necessarily mean the discs in shops are okay, but ... who knows. However, as I say, I ordered my blu-ray online only a fortnight ago - and still got the disc with the b/w opening.
HMV have been having stock problems due to their financial problems... They have only recently started getting new stuff in again due to the rescue by the banks. Maybe this is why? At 25 pounds, though, there is no chance I'll be getting it from them! Apparently some stores had empty shelves and looked to be on the verge of closing. My two local stores are both pretty poor.
Well I didn't get this disc, as I didn't want the B&W opening... I'm tempted to order it now, but not sure whether it's still got the B&W opening! Has anyone picked it up in the last six months?
Yes I have but I ordered it from the Arrow website when they had a sale around christmas last year. You should buy it and if the opening is like the link below (the film part 1 but check the opening) then you are fine but if it doesn't then email Arrow.

Hope this helps.
I ordered it a few days ago from Amazon and I am watching the disc this very minute. Sigh of relief, its the sepia opening not the B&W one. I held off ordering it last year as I don't like sending stuff back if I can help it.
(Of course it might not be an 100% of getting the right one depending how they shuffle their stock.)
Edit....... although re-reading the thread an email to Arrow and proof of purchase is all thats needed.Something I wanted to avoid as I am whinged at for buying alot of films.
Bit of an improvement on my Vipco DVD. I have an EC entertainment disc with the Sepia opening somewhere as well. Triple dipped. Must be mad.
