I don't expect it to be multi region for that price Marc. When it comes I'll try and find a hack for it.I am happy with the spec of this and it's a good entry blu-ray for me.

There's no multi-region hack for this one.

When buying it's always worth a search of the AVForums.

Why do you want a system? I'd avoid them like the plague if I were you. Separates are best. Take a look at what Richer Sounds have on offer.

I can see where you're coming from, Marc. But for some, such as myself with very limted space and other people to consider (wife), an all-in-one system is a good half way house.

I have a Panasonic SC-BT200 which is multi region for DVD and could be chipped for multi region Blu-Ray if I wanted.

I would also recommend the following Blu Rays

    Blade Runner
    Psycho
    2001
    The Thing

Whilst most people cite the improved picture quality with blu-ray, I have been just as impressed by the sound quality.

Blade Runner is a masterpiece! You must be the only person I know who dislikes it.

Oh, forgot 'Suspiria' - the recent Arrow Video release, looks and sounds amazing.

The single most impressive sequence I've seen through my home cinema was the plane crash in 'The Knowing' - nearly tore my front room apart.

Shame someone can't put all the best set-pieces from various blu rays onto one disc as a nice test for any system.
