i can't find a pic of it the correct size to load here, but for me a Colonial Viper from the original (if you will proper) Battlestar Galactica would do nicely!

Great topic.... I like the Nostromo in Alien - the clunkiness of it, the idea of the spaceship as deep sea oil rig, and I always find it very creepy that this vast spaceship has just 7 crew members - truely a haunted house. Also, I love Giger's design of the derelict space craft - it looks so strange and...well...alien

Isn't it bizarre how the toy versions of many of these craft didn't follow the colour schemes of the TV original.

Space 1999s craft were rendered in a bright green paint, instead of whites. I'm probably referring to Dinky, rather than the examples above.
