I have been listening to shed-loads of Prince recently. The only person who can even get in the position of vying with La Grande Dame Bowie as my mega-all-time-fave, I kiss his ass in perpetuity. In celebration of his general amazing-osity, I would like to mark both his God-like genius: -

R.I.P. Sean Bonniwell.
Re: the new Fall (a little late, sorry. Missed it first time around). That groove-metal riff on that Greenway song just ain't hitting, for me at least. But some of it has the scree/drone thing they do so well in spades ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeCSm0iyq5U ). It's refreshing to know their album covers are still hideous after all these years.

In case anyone is needing their January blues cured, get yr ears round a bit of Shirley and Dolly Collins. :-D

Just from youtube samplings it's got the Stones Bridges To Babylon album beat by a mile (both 35th anniversary albums). Still there's always Hex Enduction Hour (and Sticky Fingers).

Wow. The Minds at their dazzling, mystical, psychedelic peak. Plus Jim's barnet at this point is my most ever coveted 'do!

I've been listening to Thick As A Brick 2, the follow up to Jethro Tull's spoof concept album from the 1970s.
Also the last album from E.S.T - Swedish jazz trio - recorded shortly before the bandleader's accidental death 4 years ago.
~bought a JAMES TAYLOR album,
and keep sticking on some Nirvana, works well in the car, especially when overtaking.
