All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (Jonathan Levine, 2006)

I saw this one at Frightfest back in 2007, and must say I thought it was pretty OK. Optimum have announced this on DVD and Blu-ray I suggest you check it out. No US release just yet!

I've seen this - it's a pleasant diversion, but not something I'd watch again in a hurry.

Still, Amber Heard, the girl who plays Mandy Lane, is fit! Fit! Fit!

Watched this at the cinema, and was bored stiff. It was great!
Probably one of the most unintentionally laughable endings i've seen in a film for a long time.

I saw it at the cinema last year and didn't like it at all. And Amber Heard was really irritating.

I saw this last night - on the whole I liked it. At only about one hour twenty minutes before the end credits start it zips along quite nicely. It had a very 80s feel to it up until the end, which I thought was a bit out of place with the rest of the film. Surprisingly, its two years old already - I read it was due to be released last year, but was pulled and sold to another distributor after Grindhouse did poorly at the box office.

Worth a look all the same...I think it'll either be one you love or hate.

Saw this at the cinema and I really enjoyed it - I'd say more but AndyBlade has really nailed it in the previous post.

I couldn't really see the TCM refs as mentioned elsewhere...OK, maybe a brief moment later in the film...but I really enjoyed this one.

Even the first half where nothing much happens kept me watching. Pity the girls together angle wasn't expanded upon.

The film does offer a clue to the twist ending that I spotted but didn't much think of at the time. Note to self: must pay attention in the future!

One of the goodies of the year so far IMO. Along with GONE BABY GONE and THE LEGEND OF THE SEAHORSE. The later being a total gem.

Watched this earlier tonight. Its not the most remarkable film I have seen, but for a Teen Slasher movie it gets a plus point for not irritating me.
Its decent, especially compared to alot of the recent dross.
A good one to rent on a slow night.

I wont be picking this up until it drops in price a little as I've already seen it. I did pick up the DVD in a shop today just for a look, and that cover is absolutely TERRIBLE. It looks even worse in your hand than it does on a screen, and that quote 'the oc meets friday 13th' is really lazy and bad - its nothing even remotely like either. At all. Well worth a look though.

hmmm - seems a little inaccurate to me as well. Lazy marketing - 'it's got teens in - teens are in the O.C., it's got stabbing, hey what's the name of that film with all the stabbing in?'

Probably the most boring, instantly forgettable film I've seen in the last 5 years or so.
    Awful!

I am guessing you haven't seen 10,000 BC yet then.?
There are very few films that I have to do in a couple of sittings. That was one.
Apart from a couple of CGI mammoths and birds, that was paint drying stuff.

Mandy Lane to me wasn't awful.Unexceptional maybe.
I sort of digged the vibe from the film, was it the music and the way it was presented.I don't know, but I enjoyed it.
