FREEZE ME (aka FREEZER) is on the Sci Fi channel at midnight tonight.

I watched this the other week and found it very disturbing for some reason I couldn't quite put my finger on. Whilst I'm fully aware that East Asian cinema has no problem mixing its sex and violence (look at all that Manga tentacle porn stuff - I'm sure it's got an official genre name, but not one that I'm aware of), its mixture of rape-revenge plot and soft-porn titillation (how often do we see the protagonist in the shower?) left a sour aftertaste. It's very well made, and acted, yet decidedly nasty - and I'm sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
