No. Such are the problems for the whole BR movement.
Why? Well, the first film is great. The ones that follow drop off, imo. The link is asking £53 for this set - which includes the latest film. However, the first three films on SD can be had for a tenner. Then you get Rambo on top. Further, those SD editions are stacked with extras.
Replay value of the discs I have hasn't been great. I guess the details about Amazon are incorrect, because it states (at time of writing): Number of Discs: 1
Will be interested to read reviews, since the SD discs have been through master after remaster. However, upgrades to BR are a balance between quality of SD, price difference, and rewatchability (dang, horrible word!) In this case, for me, it's a no go. Maybe the first film at some point - but that's a ways off. And of course, the new title.....

Rambo III will still be cut though due to horse falls
With today's release of this set and the new Rambo film I thought i'd resurrect this thread. I haven't bought this set as I already had the excellent US release of the trillogy, but you can't really argue with the £21 price tag this has Asda, the 4th film itself will set you back £10 in the same shop. Anyways, what is everyone's thoughts on the new film? I thought it was excellent, and the recent reports of Stallone prepping a extended cut didn't dampen my interest in picking up this dvd, and the rather limp 4th installments of Die Hard and Indiana Jone's really goes to show how Stallone is maturing as a film maker. Roll on Death Wish.
Aah, I see, my mistake, now that is an absolute bargain. I had asumed the UK set had been released along with the dvd. If only I had a Blu Ray player. I wonder what the UK situation is on a Rambo Blu Ray boxset? I bet it wont beat that price.
bluray set £50 at Zavvi (in store) or 49.95 online!! same as amazon
and if your into your nice dvd packaging then we have an exclusive BAMBOO packaged STANDARD dvd....
