What Have They Done to Your Daughters? (Massimo Dallamano, 1974)

I have just checked out Shameless' upcoming copy of What Have They Done To Your Daughters, and I have to admit that it looks very nice indeed.

That's good to know, mate. I love the film and am eagerly awaiting this release. Glad I didn't buy the German disc now

I have the old disc of this one, with the very nice reversible cover (which I believe is something Shameless do). It's a great film. The old disc looked decent, but the sound was a little thin. How was the sound quality, Wilson? Any extras of note?

It's a great film, I've already got the Koch Media one, great transfer, lovely packaging and nice booklet. I'd assume that Shameless' print will be the same one that was used for the Koch release?

Good to see it getting a decent UK release though as the previous release from Salvation / Redemption had quite a poor transfer.

The third film is out, mate. Came out in Germany back in March and I reviewed it for Lovelockandload.

There's a decent release of 'Red Rings Of Fear' via German company New Entertainment World. Xploited have it in stock.

Must've posted at the same time Comp!

    Great minds and all that!

The German disc is not a bad one; certainly the best home video release the film has had in English, though the print is a bit battered.

I only got about 10 minutes into it last night before Nick called me and we chatted for an hour.

I will be attempting to watch it again and I'll let you know how the audio is.

Vaughan, you can call me Kev, btw...

I'm probably the minority with this but I thought Red Rings of Fear was really poor, nothing happened, almost no blood, very little sleaze, a real anti-climax and to top it off it was really boring. The print I saw didn't help but a bad film is a bad film, good transfer or not.

Are there any fans of it or do you agree that it's a bad film?

It's not a bad film, Cloud, it's just not as good as the other two films. Watching the film in widescreen really does improve the film, IMO.

As I missed out on the Redemption DVD I'll certainly be picking up the Shameless release.

Looks superb don't it,you have anything to do with the restoration or clean up of this one Marc?

If the master was the same as the one used for the Koch Media DVD then no restoration or clean up was necessary.

Sounds good! This is one disc I'll definately pick up. I guess extras are too much to ask?

Correct - they are the extras. My check-disc doesn't have a sleeve, but I personally seen the reversible cover - very nice!

My disc is sleeveless too, though the print is excellent.
