i ordered the dutch blu ray off amazon uk, mainly because i got free next day shipping. i would think the transfer is the same as the us one, but the us has extras.
i never watch them so i wasnt too fussed

i got a copy of Where Eagles Dare for a quid the other day, score! great film. it's one of those dvds you get free with a comic, but there's a contemporary featurette, on location, ten minutes or so, which is neat - they talk to Eastwoood, Pitt and Burton as well as crew members.

i got the henstooth r1 edition, its got the long version with a director commentary. unfortunately its not enhanced for widescreen. but its still a nice print in the correct aspect ratio.Which print is the ASA one btw? theatrical or directors??
