Well, this is a strange one. I bought the Predator trilogy box set on Blu from Amazon this morning as it was at the bargain price of just under £7!!! Once the sale was done, I went back to look and it had gone back up to £25!!!

    Bargainlicious!!!

The LONDON NOBODY KNOWS/BICYCLETTES DE BELSIZE DVD is fantastic, Harold. A true slice of London history.

Re: What's Your Latest Buy - and From Where?

Payday has come around again... wanted to fill a few holes in my collection, so there's a few obvious favourites in there that for some reason I hadn't got around to purchasing:

    BRUTE CORPS (R1)
    ALMOST HUMAN (R2)
    WAKE IN FRIGHT (R4)
    JUST BEFORE DAWN (R1)
THOU SHALT NOT KILL... EXCEPT (R1)
    NIGHT OF THE COMET (R1)
    SWORD & SORCERY SET (DEATHSTALKER 1 & 2, ETC.) (R1)
    MONSTER SQUAD (R1)
    MISCHIEF (R1)
    CHOPPING MALL (R1)

...and also bought a couple of books: UNFILTERED: THE COMPLETE RALPH BAKSHI and the paperback of TUFF TURF! Lastly, plan to buy 88 Films' widescreen release of CASTLE FREAK when it gets released mid-May. And that's my shopping done for the next month!

Re: What's Your Latest Buy - and From Where?

Popped into The Cinema Store today and they were having a sale of some titles at £5.95, including a smattering of Warner Archive releases. And the nice man behind the counter even gave me a further discount, so all of these worked out at a fiver each:

HOUSE OF WOMEN (1962) (WARNER ARCHIVE)
    SWEET HOSTAGE (1975) (WARNER ARCHIVE)
    HYSTERIA (1965) (WARNER ARCHIVE)
    THE COUCH (1962) (WARNER ARCHIVE)
    CRUCIBLE OF TERROR (1971) (SEVERIN)
