I believe I mentioned this on the film thread - the film is so dark it's nearly unwatchable, imo. Complete joke.

Went on an ordering spree today.

amazon.co.uk: The Gentle Touch Season 1 (UK Network DVD)

On a whim. My wife and I have been enjoying the Juliet Bravo series on DVD, and I recall this being along the same lines. Paid a tenner for Season 1.

    CD:

amazon.co.uk: Bill Frisell - History, Mystery

I've been listening to a lot of older Bill recently, and I'm way behind on his new work. Time to catch up.

amazon.co.uk: More Frisell - East and West

amazon.co.uk: Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau

What with the Tull, Mehldau, and On the Buses I ordered late last week, should be a fun time.

    @ Groon

That's a real disappointment on AVP2, I was looking forward to this on DVD, think I'll give it a miss for now. Thanks

I just got the soundtrack to New York Ripper, and was surprised how good it was. Real chill out music, everyone I play it to love it!
You wouldnt think the music is from a notorious film like that.

Vaughan, I didn't watch The Gentle Touch but I do remember seeing another Jill Gascoigne TV series called Cat's Eyes. Don't remember much about it, except that Leslie Ash also starred.

I'll keep you posted, Wavecrest. It should arrive some time next week. As you know, sometimes memories can play tricks. Juliet Bravo though, I don't know, I enjoy it a lot..... I honestly don't remember much about The Gentle Touch...
