Anybody know when this is out? Was supposed to be out by now but Amazon have changed it to unavailable and FAB Press simply indicate a unhelpful 'future release'.![]()

Should be out later this month.
Still no sign of it with etailers.......
It's been available for pre-order (£7.99) for a while now on FAB's website and is due for publication on Oct 1st.

My copy just arrived! First impressions... Excellent! Cram packed with stuff, this'll keep me going for a while.
Here we go again! My wife still hasn't recovered from my purchasing Eaten Alive: The story of Italian cannibal and zombie film. How will she react to my buying this!
I must admit I've never heard of the magazine, but I love the cover art on this book.
Picked this one up earlier today and started skimming through it. Amazing read!!! I didn't want to put it down. Highly recommended. Right up there with 'Sex Shocks and Sadism!'
This sounds right up my street! I'll have to get myself a copy of this - people on other forums have also been raving about it.

It's actually very average 'book (more a magazine in fact) - written by Todd Tjserland. It was a mail order only publication man moons ago.
Has a real old style 'fanzine' feel to it, which I'm not sure helps. Lots of porno covered but is all a bit 'on-the-nose' in the writing - description of what goes on but not the background and context that this kind of thing really needs. (see the old Something Weird Blue Book /catalogue for what I'm on about). Jeez, I've finally turned into the English lecturer who annoyed me so much at university ..
That's what I kind of liked about the book. When reading an A-Z guide of exploitation films etc. I prefer to hear what's in the film rather than any deep analysis and background info, etc. Poked out eyeballs, gut gnoshing and sleazy excess is why I watch alot of these films (which in some cases is all they really offer) so thats what I like to read about (and why I started watching films by say, Lucio Fulci). Not that I have any real problem with the other style of writing: although I read this much more than something like 'Nightmare USA'.
