I haven't seen this cheesy movie in about twenty years but I remember it being good fun. I think it had Jack Palance and Martin Landau in it. Any chance of this ever seeing the light of day?

No, I loved that movie too and I am looking forward to a DVD release. I have seen it 20 years ago and I never forgot how creepy it was.

Is this the same film as 'The Warning' (Guild Home Video)? The story's a bit like a sort of 'Predator' kind of thing with an alien hunting humans? And he (the alien) chucks weird organic Ninja throwing stars with claws that stick to peoples faces?

If it is I'd like to have another look at that, not seen it for ages.

great little film from the late 70's/early 80's about an alien hunter that comes to earth to hunt humans(very similar to predator) starred jack palance and martin landau.

Jack Palance in a horror film, my idea of heaven. I really want to see Torture Garden because he's in it.

Did u know that the guy who played the alien in Without Warning was the same guy who played the alien in Predator. What an amazing coincidence [my arse!].

There's a film I heard of ages ago but can't remember the plot. It's some euro-horror Italian film that IS Predator in the 70's. Even set in the South American jungles.

Without Warning sounds VERY similar to Predator. If Predator is a rip-off, it's a very good rip-off of a very clever premise.

Yeah he died of aids . At first I thought he must have been gay, I forever would have been watching Predator thinking "gay predator" but it turns out he had a dodgy blood transfusion and thats how he got it. It's crap when actors die cos we only remember them for their performances and not themselves. I mean look how amazing the choreography of the Predator is, Hall deserves more credit for his portrayal of the Predator.

I remember watching this when I was 12! I remember those things the alien used to throw that attached themselves to people and burrow their way in! Yuk! That poor scout party, oh well...

Jack Palance and Martin Landau ham this one up brilliantly!

I thought I read somewhere that this little known classic was coming out on DVD? Hope it's not V***o!

When I was about 13/14 (about 1984), we had a carpet shop in Dartford that did a sideline in video rentals (go figure!) Anyway, me and my brother were on our way home from school when we decided to visit the carpet shop (again, go figure!) A TV in the corner of the room caught my eye as it had a rather nasty sci-fi/horror film playing on it. I asked the assistant what the film was and he told me it was The Warning! My brother and I stood transfixed at all the gooey carnage going on; we both loved it. Of course, I got a right kicking when I got home 'cause I was late and my mum was worried sick. Oops!

Just thought I'd share that with you. It's one of life's strange happenings. Oh, and I too cannot wait until this comes out on DVD!

aka 'Without Warning' or'It Came....Without Warning'. remember seeing this when I was a very small child. Starred Martin Landau. Was originally released on Guild and I think Vipco released it some while back on VHS. Would be nice to finally see it on DVD.

It's a slasher with an alien, a blood sucking alien, instead of a dude with a knife.

I'd like to see this B.Movie from the early eighties re-released!!

All about an alien picking off kids in the woods using these strange disc shaped man eating frisbees!!

Some (great??) stars in there too, Jack Plance if I remember rightly.

Also read somewhere that the alien in the film was played by the same guy who played the Predator.

Anyone else remember this 'classic'?
