I'm sorry for being obssesive over these titles but i love 'em.

I bought synergy's releases of basket case 2 and 3 for £4.49 each (bargain) and the picture quality is quite good.

however I couldn't stop thinking about how cool it would be to have these as special editions. I think the UK is the only country to release these titles on DVD.

Are Synergy still in existence cos if not could anchor Bay get the rights to these and release them in special editions from their original masters. (although people say these were shot full frame, yes i know the first film was cos of it's 16mm origins, but Frank henenlotters brain damage was shot widescreen and from certain shots in basket case 2 and 3 it looks like these were filmed 1.85:1 {there abouts}, could you try and find widescreen masters if possible).

It would be cool to see interviews with star Kevin Van Hwentennryck, dircector Frank Hennenlotter etc, commentaries also and other fun stuff.

By the way does anyone know what became of Kevin Van Hwentennryck cos he was quite goofy and should have appeared in more genre films. He could have been another Bruce Campbell.

Frankenhooker would also be good as a special edition.

Anchor Bay please consider this. Synergy coleector's editions don't match that as they only have trailers. If you could do a deal with Tartan for the first film that would be cool too.

Well, the first one sucked big time. So boring!!! I wouldn't watch part 2 & 3, even if I got paid for it.

What are you talking about. The first is a classic, hammy acting, crap effects. it's brilliant.

As for the sequels, well they are hilirious and would love to see Frank Henenlotter make another film soon. come on Frank, it's been ten years

You say 'Basket Case' sucked, and in an older post you stated that 'Sometimes They Come Back...For More!' was a movie you really liked. Hmm.

I'm with The Dude - BASKET CASE is a superb film, a classic even. Siamese twins separated with one half being a deformed and murderous creature - how can this not be a winner with horror fans!? It's great!

I was bored throughout the entire movie (Basket Case) and normally I kinda like bad, cheesy B-movies. But this one is terrible. I know almost every one of you disagree, but hey...what can I say

Sometimes They Come Back...Again is one of my favourite films. Can't help it :) And I don't need any excuse, you know. Each man his own opinion
