Just noticed an audio commentary by Christopher Frayling has gone through the BBFC for A Fistful of Dollars. Maybe those anamorphic releases are on the cards then...

Nice one, I'll definitely be upgrading A Fistful Of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More if they get decent reissues.

That's the best news I've heard in a long time! I've just bought both films so it's Sod's Law that they would get the SE treatment now!

There's rumours over at Mobius that scenes shot by Monte Hellman for the ABC network showings may be included as extras, also that 'Duck you sucker' may be getting a (re) release (?). (MGM bought it out not long ago in the form of the european extended cut with alternate scenes).

Duck You Sucker is one of my favourite spaghetti westerns, period. Anyone out there by the beautifully packed Japanese LTD ED, that came in a wooden box? Nice...

This is good news, even if it wasn't sanctioned by Sergio! It's nice to have those little odd bits of history...

Take it easy gringo, me and my friends mean no harm.

If you love the filthy, dirty smell of spaghetti westerns, I am sure by 2005 you will have to catch 'a bullet in the teeth' ! :D

adios amigo!

(strains of Ennio Morricone come in...LOL

Yes, all three will be picked up. Looks like they're taking the same format as the Once Upon A Time In The West and The Good, The Bad & The Ugly SE DVDs with three documentaries on each. Excellent news, when this lot are out all of Leone's major work will have had the special edition treatment.

I wonder if these will have the Italian tracks. On G, B & U, the R1 did but the R2 didn't
