Argento Sleepless bargain!

Was perusing Amazon.de when I came across a two disc set of Argento's Sleepless at the bargain price of 5.97 Euro (£4.03). Set consists of the film on one disc (English stereo or German 5.1/DTS, anamorphic 1.1.77) with a making of with English subs and German text features. Disc two is a CD of the Goblin soundtrack. I had to order it and with postage, which was a bit steep, came to 12.12 Euro (£8.19). Received it today and am listening to the music now, seems a good bargain to me. I already have a copy of this. Bought it for the soundtrack. The transfer is on a par with the UK release.

Unfortunately I think this release is the FSK16 version with censorship cuts. As far as I know amazon.de don't sell any FSk18's.
Still not a bad price considering it's got the soundtrack.

Sadly the box doesn't tell me what rating the film is. Unless my aging eyes are too weak to spot it. Soundtrack is good though and I can always purchase an uncut copy of the film when it comes down in price. I shall watch the film sometime this week and see if I can spot any cuts.

I think in particular a whole section at the beginning with the prostitute is missing.

Oh well, you live and learn! The soundtrack is excellent though, the first track (Non Ho Sonno) is vintage Goblin. Needs to be played loud! :)
