I think someone posted something on this board a while back stating that the R4 had some sex scenes substituted?
I've checked on a few sites (dvdcompare, etc) and can find no difference between the two. I own the R4 release, and can only go by my failing memory of seeing the film in the early 90s - but it appears to be complete?
Can anyone advise of any differences in content these two discs may have? A specific answer, or link, would be great.
Thanks!

That was probably me.
The R4 is much darker and has had tiny snips at the sex scenes which have been replaced by brief shots of pots and pans if I remember correctly.
The R1 ABUS disc is fantastic - it looks great and is completely uncut.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't play on either of my machines - it kept locking up at chapter 13. This happened to two copies of the disc.
I recommend that if you go for the R1 disc you try and pick it up from a UK R1 supplier if possible, just in case you have to keep sending it back.
If you get it, could you post on here as to whether it plays ok?

Universal are putting it out on Nov 10. No idea of extras or quality yet though.

It's a full price release (ie RRP 19.99). I very much doubt if this ensures any great amount of extras though.

£8.49 on Play.
Don't know if it's a mistake but it's worth trying.
