A sub-label of Another World Entertainment, focusing on classic-era porn. Their library is limited at the moment, but definitely worth keeping an eye on. :)

Nice to see they intend to release the documentary Pornography in Denmark which i've long wanted to see, however it seems to have a Bodil bestiality film as a 'bonus'. The' bonus' for us in the UK since January 2008 could be up to 3 years in the clink for possessing that. Bloody government :(

OK I will ask, what is a Bodil , and is bestiality something people actually want as an extra on a DVD?

The snakes in The Devil In Miss Jones were bad enough

Bodil Joensen wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodil_Joensen) NB I wouldn't click on any the links referenced on the Wikipedia page though, to be on the safe side.

I believe the extra film on the disc is 'A Summer Day' by Shinkichi Tajiri which was actually lauded in the sexually experimental 70s as a work of art by some, indeed I believe Germaine Greer was on the panel that considered it for (and awarded it the Grand Prize) at the first Wet Dream 1970s film festival (I forget if it was held in The Netherlands or San Francisco... somewhere very liberal though, obviously)

It is NOT an offence to possess such films in Denmark, unless it can be demonstrated that it broke animal cruelty laws, and indeed it wouldn't have been an offence to possess (although would have to distribute) in the UK until last January.

I was going to get the SWV DVD-R of 'Pornography In Denmark', but I've wanted to check out 'A Summer Day' (along with De Renzy's 'Animal Lover')...but yeah, these would be two particular titles I would be wary about importing.

There is now a (Classification FSK 16) release of Pornograpy in Denmark by VZM in Germany/Austria and available through Amazon.de. Anybody know whether (A) It is cut? (FSK 16 is usually a sign a film has been butchered unless the film was on the tamer side to begin with) and (B) If there is a English Language soundtrack or subtitles?

X-Rated Kult have just released a Hardbox called 'PORNOGRAPHIE-REPORT' which contains this as well as 'Love in Denmark' (also available separately from VZM but a FSK 18 this time) however, surfing a German website or two it seems that the promised English soundtrack isn't actually on the disc/discs :(
