Seeking a film title of an Italian comedy (rather broad and visual comedy at that), very popular in Italy, possibly a short series has been made, never released in UK and therefore never dubbed or sub-titled.
Probably made within ten or twenty years ago - in colour.
It concerns an accident prone worker who lives in a high rise flat and in the short clip I have seen he gets a lift to work in the morning from a friend who stops on the adjacent highway and our hero climbs over a barrier to reach his car.
Is this a sufficient description to enable some of our erudite readers to come up with the goods? I hope so!

Do you have the clip to show us?
Could it be a Franco & Ciccio film? I don't think many, if any of their films were dubbed into English and they were HUGELY popular in Itlay. They made films from the '60's right up to the early '90's too.

One of their films did make it, the Peplum spoof Maciste Against Hercules in the Valley of Woe which can be found on an Alpha DVD, although reviews I have seen suggest that 'Valley of Woe' is an appropriate title for the script as well. They did also show up in Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs although I believe they only have a small part in the US print.
Aside from that, they appear together in a segment in Kaos (1984) which is available on DVD.

I have a copy of this recorded off Film4 sometime around 2000. It's dreadful and they are the principal reason.

Was it in English or Italian? The English language (ie US release) print is not available on DVD.

Thanks for all the replies so far. But.....
EUREKA.....
the name I was looking for is Fantozzi.
Also found a selection of his film clips on You Tube.
The second part of my question - have any of his films been issued in the UK?
