Driller Killer Remake

Early doors - but it's interesting this has turned up on IMDB, with none other than David Hess being involved.

The Trivia section states:


The film was originally going to be directed by Asia Argento and set in Italy. Abel Ferrara intended to produce the project until other commitments prevented his involvement.

Would have been fun to see her cast Dario in the film, maybe she could have brutally killed him - as he has her so many times - with a drill to the head at a bus stop. :D

The director also made a movie called Feral Generation, which is starting to play around festivals this year I think. Have to come out here and confess that I know Andrew so am biased ... definitely interested to see what happens with this though, as well as Beautiful Outsiders, which is also on the boards if I remember rightly and has Hess, Giovanni Lombardo Radice and Marc Sheffler (!)

The bloke who is behind this (Andrew Jones) was posting on the old AB forums last year. The project is still in a very early negotiation stage according to reports and probably won't start filming until 2009..

The Beautiful Outsiders will shoot before DK and has an extraordinary cast attached, including David Hess, Doug Bradley, Brad Dourif and Tara Reid!
